Popular K-pop group BLACKPINK launched its official Twitter account on Friday.

Their first tweet, “Hello Twitter” with a photo of the four-piece group, was retweeted over 266,000 times and got over 600,000 likes.

On the same day, the group released its long-anticipated new single, “How You Like That”, following its latest EP, which was released in April 2019, Kill This Love. As of the time of writing, the song’s music video has been viewed more than 80 million times.

On June 30, Twitter will host BLACKPINK Live Comeback Party as a #TwitterBlueroom Q&A session. Fans can watch the session live on BLACKPINK’s official Twitter account and interact with the group directly using the hashtags #Ask_BLACKPINK and #TwitterBlueroom. A live chat room will also allow fans to enjoy similar features.

Additionally, BLACKPINK’s special custom emojis drawn by the members themselves are available on Twitter until Aug. 31. Fans can use the emojis to show support by adding a hashtag to the member’s name.

Fans of BLACKPINK‘s Lisa are calling for YG Entertainment to take better care of their artist. Beginning March 7, BLINKs trended “YG Stop Sabotaging Lisa” on Twitter while listing the various instances when the company failed to support her in her endeavors.

Fans around the world, including major fansites in China, have joined the protest.

Lisa's China fans 57 & 58 will only focus to Lisa for now. Until YG makes rectifications, they will not conduct any purchasing group activities other than Lisa's.
