Different than a college or university, the British Columbia Institute of Technology offers practical, applied education with instructors who have direct, hands-on experience in their field.

• When you install Citrix Workspace app, the Citrix Workspace app installer checks whether the Microsoft Visual C Redistributable package is present on the system and installs it if necessary. This document aims to guide you through the installation process of both.
• Make sure you are using your lab credentials (BCIT ID and password), CAPS LOCK is off and your password is correct. Contact the IT Services Service Desk 604-412-7444 with your BCIT ID and class group and you can be added to the group.

A flexible, online schedule let student Stephanie Patz juggle coursework with her duties as an army medic, deployed in the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic.

This meant she could complete the BCIT part-time Introduction to Forensic Health Sciences even under very tough circumstances.

“The way this course was offered, and the fact that no synchronous attendance was required, and that there were no in-person exams, made it incredibly manageable to complete,” shared Stephanie.
